It’s been over 15 years since Hootie and the Blowfish made there smash album “Cracked rear view” wich introduced the band to worldwide fame.  Hootie has toured and made other albums since then, but none have matched their success with their debut.  Lead singer Darius Rucker recently took a chance on a solo album in the country genre.  Many were skeptical at first, but Darius has had big success with his second coming.  He has succeeded beyond all expecations and become the first black country artist since Charlie Pride to have this much success.  His first single, “Don’t think I don’t think about it” was a smash and he has followed it up successfully with 3 more hit singles.  He is currently on tour taking his live shows across America.  For those Hootie fans out there, don’t be surprised to hear some of there old hits at his concerts.
