If you haven’t been there lately, or never been at all, Laughlin, Nevada has grown into a booming gaming and tourist mecca for those who like the entertainment, but not the crowd of Las Vegas.  Built on the banks of the Colorado River, Laughlin started out as a small bar with a few slot machines, a couple card tables, and 4 of 5 rooms for overnight guests.  Since those early days in the 60’s, Laughlin now has several high rise casinos with plenty of rooms and entertainment to keep you busy for however long you want to stay.  Along with the casinos, there are plenty of great golf courses, places to shop, fine dining, and any kind of outdoor fun you can imagine.  Laughlin’s location in the southern tip of Nevada, a short drive from Flagstaff and california makes it a poular stopping point while traveling down I-40.  For those looking for Vegas entertainment without all the big city hassels, Laughlin should be on your places to go list.
