Cheap eats Seattle pt.1

Oh where to begin. There is just so much good inexpensive food of all varieties that it can make it a difficult choice, even for those of us who reside in the emerald city. I will take you first to one of the more interesting areas that is central to culture in seattle, and within walking(or short bus ride) distance from the downtown area.
The international district is one of seattle’ oldest and most diverse neighborhoods. There are restaurants and produce stands, asian bakeries and tea houses. One of my absolute favorite things though, is the beloved peking duck. There are several choices in the area but my favorite is called simply Kings House of Barbecue. It is very inexpensive, usually not costing more than fifteen dollars for enough meat to last several meals. There are few choices ranging from the infamous duck to barbecued pork belly(my absolute favorite) and some other products special to chinese culture. A small side of rice to go with this and you are good to go. There are no seats inside so I usually go straight home and enjoy.
Eating something new is one of the best ways to experience a new culture and there is ample opportunity most places you travel, and the food is often much less expensive than in the tourist areas. “Ready to go?
