Lets face it, there aren’t many others, if any who have had the success of George Stait. Unlike most acts that start out strong and then slowly fade away, George Strait’s fame and success have steadily climbed since his first hit “Unwound” made its debut in the early 80’s. Each album he has released has gone atleast platinum with several of them going platinum many times over. The weird thing is he is still getting it done into his late 50’s. Most entertainers his age are touring casinos or stuck in Branson singing songs they made popular in their 20’s. Not George. I for one think his last 3 albums are some of his best. Obviously I’m not alone if you look at the sales of his recent albums.
George Strait is truly an original. If you plan on going to his concert, don’t plan on wild theatrics or pyrotechnics. It will just be George, his amazing voice and his Ace in the Hole band playing an endless list of hits over the past 30 years.  Its a winning combination that sells out arenas and stadiums everywhere he plays.
