I-10 camera cops are plentiful in Arizona

If you plan on traveling on I-10 through Arizona any time soon, slow down or you will be getting a ticket in the mail. While traveling to L.A. this past weekend, I began to notice SUVs with what looked like a long antenna attached to the roof along the interstate. These things were everywhere and seemed to be placed atleast every 3 to 5 miles. I soon noticed there weren’t any drivers in the vehicles so I kind of assumed it was some kind of border surveillance. Boy was I wrong. One of those SUVs soon passed me and I got a look at the decal on the side. It was the The Arizona State Higway Patrol. Those long antennas were cameras taking pictures of speeders. I should have known by the way everyone on the interstate seemed to slow down when coming up on these vehicles. Not only was traffic slow through metropolitan areas, locals were driving well below the speed limit everywhere. So just in case you might be headed out west on I-10 anytime soon either slow down to avoid a ticket or fly to your destination. With as many of these camera patrol cars as there are in Arizona, you will get caught.
