Despite it’s state motto of “Liberty and Union Now and Forever, One and Inseparable”, which this writer finds quite ironic given there is a South Dakota which is a ’seperate’ state. However that little nit picking aside, this really is a beautiful state which Lewis and Clark traveled, also has the Teddy Roosevelt National Park, beautiful lakes, rivers and streams of some of America’s most productive farm land.
They are America’s largest producer of everything from durum wheat to all dried peas, all dry beans, honey and sunflower, flax, barley and canola. Talk about a farming paradise! Let www.cheaperticketprices.com take you there for great hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing and even make a wager or roll the dice at various casino’s on an Indian reservation, even the name Dakota is taken from the Sioux Indians.

What isn’t there to do in this great area, from gem mining or maybe take a stage-coach ride or even visit the “badlands” where many a less than scrupulous villain has hidden from the law. Tour an early American fort that defended our nations west border. With less than a million residents in this wide open countryside, you’ll have peace and quiet if you want, or excitement that you crave. Any way you look at it, North Dakota is a great part of this country and deserves a visit. For more information go to their official website at www.ndtourism.com.
