Denver - The Mile High City
Mmmm…Denver, also known as the “mile high city.” A lot of people wonder why it’s referred to as the mile high city. Well, here is the answer. Denver is actually 5,280 feet above sea level, and wouldn’t you know it, 5,280 feet is actually equal to mile!
Enough of the story behind the Mile High City. Let’s talk about what you can actually do there! Do you like art? You can always visit the Denver Art Museum. Or wait, are you more of an extremist? How about you go kayaking at the city park? Want to go shopping for some gifts or heck, just spend all the money on yourself? In that case, the Cherry Creek Shopping District is always an option! Maybe you’ll be in town for a ball game. If so, you’ll have the chance to visit Coors Field! Once your done having fun and enjoying all of Denver, how about you look at some interesting history at the “Unsinkable Molly Brown?”
