The cherry blossoms are blooming and now it the perfect time to visit our nations capital. Most just admire the pink floral display in Washington during this time of your, some know the trees were a gift from the Japanese are are quite loved by them as well. Either way, walking down the plaza with the cherry blossoms drifting and the air filled with it’s pungent smells evokes many a memory.
Perhaps a museum tour to cap off your day. You’ve got plenty of world class one’s to choose from. The Air and Space Museum is one of my favorites but you could spend weeks in the Smithsonian and not have seen everything they have to offer. For art museums you might want to check out the Phillips or the Dumbarton House for the more eclectic of collections and shows.
Of course if you’d like you can go the “political” route and www.cheaperticketprices.com can get you there to meet your county’s senator. Tour Lincolns memorial, the Washington Monument or perhaps just get your picture taken in front of the White House. What ever your desires you’ll find something to do in Washington, D.C.
