Honeymoon destination tips

After the “I do’s” are said, and the reception is over, the next step is for you and partner to travel to a place that the “two” of you can enjoy. That’s the main thing, picking a place that BOTH of you will enjoy. It won’t be pleasant for either one of you unless the place to go is agreed upon. For example, lets say you dream of a romantic honeymoon with sandy beaches and beautiful sunsets, but the one you married could care less about sunsets or beaches, you should know their likes and dislikes by now since you married them. Putting on a happy face in a place you don’t want to be will be hard to maintain through the whole trip even if you are with the one you love.
My advice is talk about the honeymoon a great deal before deciding on the destination. Figure out what drew the two of you together in the first place, what you both share in common. If the two of you are very fitness minded and into physical activity, go to a place that offers activities like hiking, bike riding, or exploring. The beach seems to be the most popular choice, but the majority of people I know that go honeymooning to tropical getaways usually just hang out on the beach and drink margaritas. There is nothing wrong with that at all it that is what you are both in to.
Money is also a major issue when it comes to honeymoons. Your financial position can be the most important factor when deciding where to go. Not to worry though, there are great places to go without breaking the bank. I know a couple that rented a cabin on a beautiful lake in Southeastern Oklahoma and had a great time fishing, boating, and just enjoying nature. When money is the main obstacle to overcome, putting of the honeymoon until you have the money isn’t a bad idea, especially if both of you have your hearts set on a certain place.
A honeymoon is suppose to be a magical and fun experience the two of you will never forget. With a little planning, you can make sure the two of you will have a blast.
