Kurt Warner: Most underrated quarterback ever
16th January, 2010 - Posted by Traveler -
We’ve all heard the story of how Kurt Warner rose to the top of the football world after beeing an low paid employee at a grocery store. That is a testament to his determination to succeed at what he knew he was born to do. Play football. Coming from a school, Northern Iowa, not very well known as pumping out NFL players, Kurt continued to play football after college in the Arena and Europena football leagues. He excelled while he was there and eventually the St Louis Rams came calling. With all of his accomplishments on the field, he still remains calm and collected and uses his star power to focus attention on his charities and his devout christian faith. I rally don’t think you will ever hear of a scandal involving extramarital affairs of run ins with the law from Warner.
His accomplishments on the field are Hall of Fame worthy, yet you never hear his name being called as one of the leagues best. With stats like his, he should always, in my opinion, be regarded as one, if not the best qurarterbacks in this era. He has a Super Bowl ring, been to the Super Bowl three times, and has amazing career stats. He has thrown over 32,000 yards, wover 200 touchdowns, and has a career qb rating of over 93%. he carried St. Louis on his shoulders after the injury to quarterback Trent Green and won a championship. When St; Louis thought his best days were over and he left for Arizona, he put that team in the Super Bowl and has a good chance of making it back again. I think Kurt is mainly overlooked because of his quiet and professional demeanor, and playing for low profile teams. If he was the quarterback for Dallas or New England, his praises would be sung everyday you turned on ESPN. Kurt has shown he still has alot of play in him and is determined more than ever to get another Super Bowl ring. If it does or doesn’t happen, he deserves to get the praises of a true champion and be regarded as one of the best ever.
